What is the IB curriculum?
The IB course study cycle is two years (high school eleventh and twelfth grades)The IB curriculum is not based on the curriculum system of any country in the world, but is a self-contained system. It has widely absorbed the advantages of the mainstream curriculum systems of many contemporary developed countries and covers their main core contents.
Therefore, the IB curriculum system is compatible with the mainstream education curriculum systems in various countries around the world., and it has its own unique educational philosophy. The IB curriculum is divided into six basic subject areas. Students must study both science and humanities subjects. All students participating in the diploma program must choose one course from each of the six subject groups to study. Each course is divided into advanced courses and general courses. The IB curriculum is a challenging and highly recognized difficult course that prepares students to enter university and obtain an international baccalaureate certificate. After obtaining this certificate, students are eligible to directly enter British universities and universities in most other countries. They may also obtain up to one year of credits to enter American universities. The IB curriculum is carried out in depth, and students' learning will continue to deepen.
Courses
The IBDP program lasts two years. It is divided into six major subjects: foreign languages, language and literature, humanities
Sociology, Experimental Science, Mathematics, Art. There are more than 50 subjects in total. Each subject category consists of high-level courses and standard-level courses. Students need to choose one subject from each of the six categories, and three subjects are required to be high-level courses and three are standard courses.
Course Difficulty
During the entire IBDP learning process, there is a wealth of high-intensity academic training, and its rigor and value are comparable to undergraduate education at the world's top universities. Specific forms include independent research, academic paper writing, academic papers, social practice, etc. 1BDP not only emphasizes the acquisition of basic knowledge, but also focuses on the cultivation of research and thinking skills. Every student who obtains an IB certificate has independent research capabilities that are recognized worldwide.
Who is suitable for IB courses?
IB is suitable for students with strong learning ability, good planning and good time management. The IB curriculum focuses on balanced development in science, humanities, foreign languages, art, social work and other aspects, without bias or emphasis on one aspect. If a student has a special interest and talent in a certain subject, he or she will feel that there is no time to fully develop his or her strengths when entering the IB curriculum class.
Evaluation method
IB's assessment method is divided into internal school assessment
There are two types of IBDP: internal assessment and external assessment. After completing the IBDP course, students need to take the global unified examination. The maximum score for each subject is 7 points, and the total score is 42 points. In addition, there is a 3-point comprehensive evaluation score. Therefore, the highest score of IBDP is 45 points.
Apply for recognition
IBDP scores are recognized worldwide, and high scorers can also use them as university credits. According to historical data, the admission rate of 1BDP students applying to top universities around the world far exceeds that of any other curriculum system. Moreover, students who have undergone 1B training generally adapt faster after entering university.

Middle YearsProgramme
(MYP)

Students study a broad curriculum covering eight subject areas: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Science, Mathematics, Art, Physical and Health Education, and Design. At the end of the programme, students undertake a Personal Project. This self-driven research or hands-on project encourages students to place their academic interests in the context of global issues.
Diploma Programme
(DP)
The IBDP is a two-year program for students aged 16 to 19, consisting of six subject groups and a core diploma program (DP). The core of the DP program requires students to reflect on the nature of knowledge in the Theory of Knowledge (ToK) course, participate in independent research projects to write extended essays (EE), and participate in extracurricular activities (CAS) related to creativity, action and service. The IB program that everyone is familiar with is usually the IBDP program: the IBDP program can be directly applied for university just like the A-level program.
